LONE OAK.
Our community was shocked nnd
grieved to learn of the sudden death of
Airs. Mollie Wright, which occurred Sun-
day nt the home of her daughter, in
Eustman. She wns found dead in her
bod Sumlny morning, dontli probably-re
sulting from an attack of heart trduble,
from which sho hail suffered for some
time. Mrs. Wright was a daughter of
the late “Uncle” Not Justiss. Several
sisters living here survive her, viz: Mrs.
W, P. Sewell, Mrs. Jim Willingham and
Mrs. Wes Fields, all of whom attended
the funeral, together with her nephews,
Alessrs. .Park Sowell nnd Marvin Willing-
lmtii. Besides the relatives named Mrs.
Wright left several daughters nnd a
number of grandchildren. She wns a
woman - of a high ordor of intelligence,
and a true follower of the lowly Nnz-
iiroue. Her dentil is mourned by n largo
numbor of relatives nnd friends.
Friday morning Mrs. John Barnes wna

yard. Needless to say, the day .was

Miss Louise Clark is much improved,
after her recent illness.
Aliss Eleanor, Culpepper has about
recovered from mi attack of fever.
Mr. Attlcus Sewell has returned from
a stay of some length at Manchester,
where he did duty us a deputy sheriff in
quelling a near riot among the A., B, &
A. strikers at tlmt place.
Mr. nnd Mrs. Chas. Culpepper have
their soil, James, with them this week.
He is in the .U. S. Navy, and is still
charmed with the life he has chosen,
which enables him to s6e much of the
world. He will leave the first part of
next week to rejoin his ship.
Mr. and Airs. Harry Wnltom have re
turned to Atlanta, after a week’s visit
to Mr. und Mrs. Chas. Culpepper.

liam Y. Atkinson, Solicitor-General of
the Coweta Judicial Circuit, filed In
the office of the Clerk of the Superior
Court of Coweta county, Ga„ the
above-stated petition, being a suit in
the name of the State of Georgia
against the Starr School District, of
said Coweta county. Ga., to confirm
and validate Teif Thousand ($10,000.00)
Dollars of bonds of said Starr School
District, alleged to have been author
ized by the legally qualified voters of
said Starr School District at an elec
tion held on the 28th day of June,
1921. it being alleged that the bonds
were for the purpose of building and
equipping a school-house or houses for
said Starr School District.
By Virtue of an order of the Honor
able C. E. Roop, Judge of the Superior
Court of Coweta county, passed on the
6th day of July. 1921, said petition will
be heard and determined by the Su
perior Cohrt bf Coweta county, Ga
at 2 o'clock p. m„ on July 23, 1921,
at the court-house In the city of New
nan, Coweta county, Ga. and any citi
zen of the State of Georgia residing
within said Starr School District, or
any other person, wherever resident,’
who has a right to object, may become
a party to these proceedings.
