The little body Was brought here for inter ment. Mr. Torn Carlton, the sixth surviving member of the com pany, was sick and could not attend. MrB. W. F. Culpepper is visiting her mister,'Mrs. Wilson, iii Macon. Mr. C, H. Tribble. Mr. Geo. P. Hod nett died at hl's home here Monday morning at 4 o’clock, nf- wr an illness of several months. Mr. Hodnett and family have lived in 8c- uom for about eighteen years, moving here from Haralson. He was 70 years °f age, and is sufvivol by hjs wife and BW children—Dr. W, C. A family reunion at the home of Mr. Claude Parker' was held Saturday. All tho members of the family, consisting of the father, six sonB and two daugh ters, were thus brought together for the first time in twelve years. A sumptuous repast of barbecue and .every- other good thing to eat was prepared in the grove adjoining the home. In all, forty-two guests were fed.. Needless to say, the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and it was agreed to make it an annual affair. The venerable head of this esti mable family is Mr. B. J. Parker; the sons are J. R„ Charles, D. F., A. H., Claude and B. J, Parker, jr.; the daugh ters are Mrs. E; J. Phillips and Mrs. T. A. Harper. Misses Jennie Mae and Winnie Sue Spence, of Trimble, were guests of Mrs. J. M. Johnson during the revival meet ing. Miss Iowa Johnson, of Hogansville, was the guest of Mrs. Early Johnson the past week.' Mr. ana Mrs. Clifford Johnson visit ed at Shiloh Saturday and Sunday-.
