Mr. Joe Garner, of Newnan, is spend
ing tlie week with his brother, Mr. Till
man Garner.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Brown visited Dr.
and Mrs, H. B. Jackson, at Dresden,
Sunday. In company with Dr. and Mrs.
Jackson and Mrs. Fannie Brown they
also visited Mr. C. S. Forbus and family,
at Mt. Gunnel, in the afternoon.
Little Misses Leona and Ethel Atta-
wny nre visiting their grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. J. M. Morrison.
Dr. James Washington Taylor, who
dins filled every office in the State Grand
Lodge of Masons, ppssed through At-
lantn Wednesday on his way to his homo
at Lutherville, after attending tlie re
cent session of the Grand Lodge at Ma
con. Dr. Taylor is 88 years old, is chair-,
man of the finance committee, of tile
Bank of Lutherville anil u trustee of the
School for the Donf at Gave Spring. Dr.
Taylor lias been a subscriber to Tlie Con

The Epworth LpHgue of the Methodist
church met Thursday evening, with Miss
Daisy Hardway as leador; subject, ‘In
Christ” Miss Frances Benton read,
“Who Killed tho Society!” This was
followed by a very interesting talk from
Mr, Elbert Pnyne, of Ncwnnn.
We extend to Mr. and Mrs, W. W.
Wilson our deepest sympathy In the loss
of their darling baby girl, May God
