Jackson, Sec’y. When the city schools recess next Wed- litr. W. J. Glover, living near town, had four fine mules and- a horse shot Saturday night. The stock broke out of the lot Saturday night, and were found next day in a serious condition from wounds, evidently inflicted by a small rifle. Dr. Smith says he is one of the strongest men in the North Georgia Canference, having just completed a four-years’ pastorate at Elberton, where he is greatly beloved.
