was a daughter of Mr. Joel Parker
at present of Waiker county, Gs.-
She was born in Monroe county,
Tenn., April 21,1847.
She was u pious Christian from
her youth ; a g md woman and just
a perfect model ot w 'manhood; a
gem in society; » good eburh
mt-niber; a devoted comp-iiiiun ; an
afTecibimte mother. Everybody
loved Mrs. Chambers. No one
can say an unkind word of her.
By her death this entirocommunity
wat, thrown into mourning. We wi re
loth to give her up. But the All
wise Creator thought it best and
called her home. “Not my will,
hut i bine he done." She bore her
sufferings with the greatest forti
