leave for Chicago, Cincinnati and
ether market*.
The prices for bell ies ranged from
above $lO to below $2 per crate of
24 quarts —ranging at the time of
the heaviest shipment* betweens 2
60 and $4 00. Chicago and Cin
cinnati were Iho principal markets,
• tho former perhaps a little more en
terprising in offering Inducements
to Southern shipper*.
The Wilson berry is doubtless
the best vuriety for grower*. It has
a very pleaaar t sour flavor and
bolds up long enough to find a
good market and if necessary al
