Rules of Contests —Each contestant must be 18 years
old or under.
Each contestant must plant his own crop and do his
own work.
Each contestant must make an exhibit of ten ears at
county fair.
Amount of yield and method of measurement must be
certified to by at least two dis.nterested witnesses.
Award will be made by a rneniber of the faculty of the
state college of Agriculture and the following basis will
be used.
Greatest yield per acre 30 per cent.
Best 10-ear exhibit 15 per cent.
Best written account showing history of crop and all
expenses 25 per cent.
Best showing of profit on investment 80 per cent.
(In estimating profits uniform prices should be
used:
$5 per acre for rent, 10c per hour for work of each
boy and 5c per hour for horse.)

with name of contents before being

Becond —Every exhibit must be
entered before 10 o’clock Thursday
morning, Oct. 27.
Third—Nothing shall be taken
from or added to any collection after

certified to, in writing, by three disinterested farmers.
The rule determining the amount per acre is that
the corn is to Ije measured in a barrel and then one bar
rel to be shucked and shelled.
