The farmers made a start last
week toward getting their ground
ready for planting. Some have
planted corn in this section and
Nome haven’t.
We had Sunday school at this
place last Sunday and a good at
tendance. Let's come every Sun
day. We cun have as good a
Sunday school at this place as any
other place, if we will all come
regularly and work together.
No sickness to report around
and about Corinth.
Walter Lanier is getting along
nicely with the gash lie cut on his
knee; hope it won't be long until
lie can walk without his crutches.
The singing at this place Sun
day was well atended.
Monroe, Corbett and Charlie
Cordell are out from Texas. They
went west about five years ate,
but they like old Georgia so wfll

day afternoon.
Quite an enjoyable evening was
spent with Mr. and Mrs. E. F.
Wheland Saturday at their home.
Several pieces of beautiful music
were rendered by Mrs. Wheland.
Light refreshments were served.

farmers took advantage of the
pretty weather last week, plant
ing corn and getting the ground
ready for cotton.
Sunday was a gloomy looking

but is slowly improving.
