A. W. HUGHES DIED
AT HIS HOME MONDAY;
A. W. Hughes, a well-known and
highly respected citizen of the coun
ty, d*ed at his home at Hock Spring
Monday evening, at the age of 72.
For a number of years Mr. Hughes
was a master mechanic at Trion, hut
several years ago he moved lo
Walker county end resided at Hock
Spring, where he ran a blacksmith j
shop.
'i'tie deceased was an invalid fori
many years before his death, hut al
ways bore Ins sufferings with he- j
fitting courage. The body was taken
to Trion Tuesday and laid to rest in
(he Trion cemetery wit ti impressive I
Masonic honors, Mr. Hughes being |
a devoted and faithful member of,
Ihe Masonic order.
Friends of the family sympathize
with them in their sad bereavement.
