I Jhe business-£ike farmer
The season of (he year is at hand when (lit 1 farmers are maiketing
their crops. Prices are pood though the crops are short, the business
like farmer, when selling his cotto >, or other crop, deposits his mone>
- in a good hank, paying his bills by check Even if you are going to use
all the money you receive from your first marketing in paying oil obli
gations, deposit your money and pay by check. This way there is no
chance of losing your money, you always have the exact change and
vour pp.id check is a receipt for the hill you ha\e paid.
Farming in our county is rapidly getting on a business basis. More
and more the farmers are applying business methods to the farm. Many
~f them are keeping books and they can tell you just what a certain
crop lias cost them and what profit they have made on a certain Held.
More and more of them are every year depositing their money in
THE BANK OF LAFAYETTE
where they receive a Service that is Satisfactory, a Courtesy that is
Pleasing, and a Safety that is Reassuring.
