On Saturday November 20, 1921,
there will be an election in the va
rious school districts of the county
at the school house for the purpose
of electing successors to all school
trustees whoso terms have expired
or whose terms will expire on Dec.
31, 1921.
The election is to he held by the
trustees and the returns to be made
to the, Superintendent of schools
immediately after the election.

The Bartlett Hardware Co’s stock
of merchandise which was offered
for sale here last Friday was hid in
by Jackson and Withers at SSIOO.
The stock at Rome, Cedartown and
Bremen were also sold last Friday
and Saturday. Each of these slocks
were sold separately and then sold
as a whole. The John Deere Co, of
Atlanta, bid on the stock of all the
stores and offered $20,150, this bid
being more than the aggregate of the
first sale of the stock of each store.
