were patronized by a large number
of people, and tie sales were pro

sales’ day held by Ibe LaFayette Ad

are very gratifying to tne merchants

be sold at auction, and la large
number came out of curioJity, just

P. D. Fortune 3rcl, war.d; L. D. Lit
tle, sth ward. E.IL. Inman and G.
W. Ransom were! the candidates in
the 4th ward, Rsmsofii winning out

councilmen.

no opposition Rcket, and the only
change from lilt year was that, of
T W. Lee who Was elected council
man to succeed Otto Zimmerman.
