our history,, we should think very care
fully and accurately about Indepen
dence Day. We should remember that
it marked the appearance on earth
of a new nation which, in a.hundred
years was to become one of the great
est, richest and most powerful nations
on earth. But, better than that it was
to become a natron which other na
tions must recognize as sincere, un
selfish and honorable. The things our
nation stands for were born-on In
dependence Day and this year we
should consider them for we have
great need to consider them.
