It is with sincere regret that we the members of the Executive Com mittee of the Coosa Baptist Associ ation, bid good-bye to Rev. I. S. Leo nard, who has for a long time been the capable, efficient and untiring chairman of this committee, and who has for thirteen years been a promi nent figure in Coosa Association af fairs .Bro. Leonard has for a long time been clerk of the association, and during the eventful years of the Bap tist Seventy-Five Million Campaign has held the position of Director for the Campaign. He has been President of the Coosa Association Sunday School Convention and has filled with distinct credit to himself and the As sociation all of the said offices. Brother Leonard has tendered his resignation from all the foregoing res ponsibiiities to this committee, having accepted work on the other side of the continent in the good State of Oregon to which place he goes with the ar dent prayers and good wishes of the entire association. This committee therefore at its last session in which Bro. Leonard parti cipated at LaFayette on Friday af ternoon, Oct. 3rd unanimously passed the following resolutions: •Whereas; Rpv. I. S. Leonard has tendered his resignation as Chairman of your Executive Committee, togeth er with all other offices held by him as hereinbefore mentioned, to take ef fect immediately, and, Whereas; Your committee, sees no other alternative than to accept said resignation, therefore be it; Resolved; First; That your commit tee feels keenly the loss of the fellow ship and counsel of Bro. Leonard.
