Savannah Morning News.
—This paper, under the edito¬
rial management of Col, J, H.
Estill, has, is our judgment,
neither prototype nor parallel
in newsy journalism. The mam¬
moth eight-page weekly simply
contains it all. We regard it
as a complete sine qua non in
our office, and for bold, vigor¬
ous, spicy speed, there is no
journal ahead.
The Dispatch.-— We are in
receipt of a “Forerunner” or
prospectus of this eveninig dai¬
ly published in Atlanta, edited
by Col. John. H. Martin, for¬
merly of Columbus. He is a
gentleman of sterling worth, a
ready and polished writer, brim
full of sound democratic ideas,
and with his vigilant corps of
reporters, backed to the bottom,
financially, as the Dispatch is,
by Messrs. Miller&Dickson, we
have no hesitancy in saying it
will becoming one of the lead¬

$1.50 for three months.
