Central of Georgia’s
Policy Unchanged
Declaring that there will be no
change in the policy of the Central of
Georgia Railway, Presiden: 37
Pelley in a statemeni issued today
discusses the principles that have
characterized that policy in the past
and which will be dfollowed in the
- future.
. Mr. Pelley states that the railroad
realizes that it is judged by the
quality of service it performs, and
, that the Central will continue to
. endeavor to furnish, safe, adequate
. and courteous transportation service.
, He says further that the railroad
recognizes another obligation in addi
. tion to that of service to the public,
| and that is to cooperate in every
possible way in the progress and
development of the section it serves.
Discussing the manner in which his
company has tor years been takirg |
the public into its confidence through
the use of paid advertisements in the
newspapers, the Central’s presiderit
says that his railroad will continue
this policy of. frankness in dealing
with the public. He states that the
management has nothing to conceal
from patrons of the road, that it
recognizes that the railroad is per
forming a necessary pubfi'c service
and that its patrons therefore have

Did you ever hear of a ‘“‘sinking fund”? It goes by various
names, but that is a good one. It means a part of the profits set
aside for a certain purpose. '
Wheon times are good or just normal, set aside every month a
part of your profits, letting it accumulate in your bank. It will
draw interes*, and some day, when business is very bad that sink
ing fund will come in handy.
