It’s grass mowing time again— a sure sign that summer is practically
here. Another sure sign of summer is canvas awnings going up. Thia
attractive home gets a summer face-lifting with canvas awnings—bus
they are there for a practical purpose as well. Canvas awnings prevent
as much as 88 per cent of the sun’s heat from entering a room, tests
made by heating and ventilating engineers have revealed. On dark, rainy
days, tliis type of awning is easily ra-ir< -to admit a maximum of light.

SPIRITUALL Y SPEAKING
By Heo. Gordon C. King
CONTINUED FROM LAST WEEK
We hear someone say every
few days that the church is not
what it once was, therefore, we
khow that the church is chang
ing, but truth is the one thing
that has not changed. We mi st
understand that truth is a good
scholar, but when it comes to
touching the relms of life and
faith no one can teach it to you,
nor can any church It is found in
the test tube of experience. The
first question asked those who
wen.t thru these tests of spirit,
ual experiences were : Did you
recieve power when you believed
Tnat power was to c; st evil out,
and let all the goodness of God in.
I believe that the church is
not founded upon man.but up< n
faith in the deity of Jesus • hrist
and expeii nee revealed from
God. You rem mber Jes s told
