~ Final rites were held Monday
at Big Sandy Baptist Church for
Mrs. Alton B. Dominy of Rt. 3
Toomsboro with the Rev. C. L.
Lowery and the Rev, J. E. Town
send officiating. Burial was in
the church cemetery. _
Mrs. Dominy was born and
reared in Wilkinson County, liv
inginthat community all her
life. She was a member of the
Big Sandy Baptist Church and
was very active in church and so
cial affairs for many years. She .
died at her residence Saturday
after an extended illness.
She was the former Miss Rosa
Lee Martin, and married Alton
B. Dominy in 1924, who survives
her. She leaves m an y friends
and relatives in Wilkinson and
Laurens Counties.

ty, N. Y.; Alton Jr., Macon; Mrs
W. H. Brewer, Charleston, S.t .;
Mrs. Willie Sapp, Dublin; Mrs.
Bailey Hooks, Toomsboro; Gussie
Bobbie, Jean, Eline, Cecil, Irvin
and Edwin, all of Toomshoro Rt

J. R. Martin, and one grandchild

assistance. He was a whopper!

lues at Toomsbore. Cecil is a
member of the faculty at Tren
ton High School. He received his
maste ’s degree from the Univer
sity of Georgia last spring.
Mr. Ralph ( ulpepper Sr. has
bought the Duggan home, now
occupied by Mr. and Mrs. A. R.
Mohr and is planning complete
renovation,

the neighborhood of Gordon, and
down Nicintyre, Toomsboro and
Milledgevilie way, and we met

We extend sympathy to Mrs.
Thad Player whose mother died
Monday, after a lingering illness.
Friends attending Mrs. Carlton’s
fuveral at Royston Tuesday in

Culpepper, Mrs. E. C. Byington,
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Skelton and
Miss Pat Player.
. Miss Ellen Jackson is very ill
at the Macon Hospital. Mr and
Mrs M. H. Bowles and Florence
Ann came down to see her and
spent the week end with Mrs. R.
L. Bartley. Robert Hartley is al
so spending a few days with his
mother,
Mrs. Heland lLane of Lake
Park, who is visiting hers brother
Delmas Toler, spent Tuesday
night with the John Porters.

home of Mrs. 8. 1. Hatfield, has
