| largest and fastest passenger ship ever built in this country, make

I now 85% completed, will be 990 feet long, 101^ feet in beam, and
' will have a speed in excess of 30 knots. She will be delivered to the
i United States Lines in New York early next summer and will join

Mr. Ralph Culpepper Sr. returned
home Wednesday from Piedmont Hos
pital, Atlanta. Mrs. Culpepper and
Ralph Jr, accompanied him. His many
friends are hoping he will soon be re
stored to his usual good health
Mr. and Mrs Russell Culpepper of
Knoxville visited Irwinton relatives
last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs J. R. Mitchell and
Mr. and Mrs. William Campbell en
joyed a trip to Warm Springs last
Sunday.
Mrs Elmo Davis spent Sunday in
Atlanta with Elmo, who is a p uient
at Lawson General Hospital.

don were Sunday visitors.
