announced his intention to
retire, I heredy announce
my candidacy for this im
portant office.
I was born in Hancock
County and have resided
• there all my life, I have
represented my county in the
House of Representatives of
Georgia for sixteen years,
and have represented the 20-
th Senatorial District in the
Senate of Georgia for four
years.
I am a graduate of Mercer
University and have been en
gaged in the active practice
of the legal profession for
more than 30 years. If I am
selected as your Solicitor
General, I pledge myself to
the faithful and impartial
performance of the duties of
this office,
I will appreciate your support.

petition, duly filed and entered on rec

W.M.Deason’s estate. This is therefor
to cite all persons concerned, kindred
and creditors, to show cause, if any
they can, why said Administratrix
should not be discharged from her ad
ministration, and receive letters of
dismission, on the first Monday in

The undersigned, as guardian of
the persons and property of Bessie
Robinson Johns. Dorothy Robinson
and Gladys Robinson, minors, by vir
tue of an order from the Court of Ord
inary of Wilkins< n County, Georgia,
will sell at public outcry, on the first
Tuesday in April, 1952 at the court
house door in said county, between
the legal hours of sale, the following
described land :
Three - fifths undivided interest
of one - third undivided interest in and
to the following described property,
being all of said minors’ interest in
said property, to wit:
All that tract or parcel of land sit
uate, lying and being in the Fourth
Land District of Wilkinson County,
Georgia, containing 100 acres, more
or less, and being parts of Lots Nos.
115 and 116 in said land district of
said county; and bounded now or
formerly as follows : On the nortn by
lands of Mrs. Jones ; on the east and
south by lands of Mace Wallace ; and
on the west by Commissioner Creek ;
being the same lands described in a
deed from Missouri Roberson to Roo
sevelt Roberson, Emmett Roberson,
and Mary Smith, being the deed rec
orded in deed book 61, page 331, in
the office of the Clerk of the Superior
Court of Wilkiinson County, Georgia
reference being made to said deed for
a more particular description.
Terms of this sale will be by cash.

PETITION FOR CHARTER
GEORGlA—Wilkinson County.
To the Honorable George S Carpenter.
Judge of the Superior Court of said
County;
A. W. Adams. John E Freeman,
and Mrs Glenn M Adams, hereinafter
called the applicants, bring this appli
cation for the granting of a charter for
a private corporation, and show to the
Court the following facts: .
1. They desire for themselves, their
associates and successors, to be incor
porated under the name of The Four
County Insurance Agency, Incorpora
ted The principal office and place of
business shall be located in Allentown
Wilkinson County, Georgi”., with the
privilege of establishing branch offices
and places of business in such other
places as may be determined.
2- The applicants are residents of
and their post office address is as fol
lows: A. W. Adams, Allentown, Ga.
John E. Freeman, Allentown, Ga.,
and Mrs. Glenn M. Adams, Allen
town. Ga.
3. The purpose and object of said
corporation is pecuniary gain and pro
fit to its shareholders. The general
nature of the business to be transacted
is, and the corporate powers desired
are:
(a) To act as agent for any and all
types of insurance companies, includ
ing Life Insurance Companies, Health
and Accident Insurance Companies,
Casualty Companies, Bonding Com
panies, and any and all other types of
insurance companies:
(b) To act as real estate Agents, to
buy and sell, acquire, own, hold, rent,
lease, transfer and assign both real es*
tate and personal property of every
kind and character and to deal with
the same in any way and manner
that may seem expedient:
(c) To have all of the power and
enjoy all of the privileges enumerated
in sections 22-1827 and 22-1870 of
the Code of Georgia, Annetated, and
all of the powers and privileges enum
erated in Chapters 22.18 and 22_19
of said Code and all of the powers and
privileges enumerated therein are
made a part hereof to the same extent
as if the same were quoted herein.
4. The time for which said cor
poration is to have existence is Thirty
five (35) years.
5. The amount of capital with
which the corporation will begin bus
iness shall be SI,OOO 00, either in cash
or other assets or a combination of the
two.
6. The capital stock of said com.
pany shall be ten (10) shares of com.,
mon stock of the face or par value of
One Hundred Dollars per share.
Applicants desire the privilege of
increasing the capital stock es said
corporation to one thousand (1,000 )
shares of common stock of the par
value of One Hundred Dollars per
share, by a majority of the vote of the
stock outstanding at the time at a
meeting duly called for the purpose,
the share holders to have such rights
or options to purchase such increased
shares on such terms and at such times
as may be duly fixed by a majority
vote of such share holders at said
meeting.
7. Applicants pray that the liabilty
of stockholders in said corporation be
confined to the unpaid price of the
stock subscribed for by each.
Wherefore, applicants pray to be
incorporated under the name anb sty
le aforesaid with all the rights and
privileges herin set out and such ad
ditional powers and privileges as may
be necessary, proper or incident to the
conduct of the business for which ap_.
plieants are asking incorporation, and
as may be allowed like corporations
under the laws of Georgia as they
now or may hereafter exist-

County Insurance Agency, Incorporat
ed.
The foregoing petition of A. W. Ad
ams, John E. Freeman, and Mrs.
Glenn M. Adams to be incorporated
under the name of The Four County
Insurance Agency, Incorporated, read
and considered. It appearing that said
petition is within the purview and in
tention of the laws applicable thereto,
and that all of said laws have been ful
ly complied with, including the pre
sentation of a certificate from the Sec
retary of State as required by Section
22-1803 of the Code of Georgia, annotat
ed;
It is hereby ordered, adjudged and
decreed that all the prayers of said pe
tition are granted and said applicants
and their associates, successors and as
signs are hereby inoorporated and made
a body politic under the name and style
of The Four County Insurance Agency,
Incorporated, for and during the period
of Thirty.five (35) years, with the pri
vilege of renewal at the expiration of
that time according to the laws of Geor
gia, and that said corporation is hereby
granted and vested with all the rights
and priveleges mentioned in said peti
tion.
