BE KIND TODAY
Whv are we prone to look backward
To tbe days that are gone by,
When we know "e can’t recap them,
No matter how hard we try.
The smiles we should have given.
Kind words we failed to say,
They have gone from us forever,
never more to come <>ur way.
There’s no use in vain regretting,
For our tailures of the past;
Though mem’ries “ft will haunt us,
W T e trust they will not last.
Many h< arts are crushed with sorrow',
And they need our love t -day.
Let us give them smiles and Kindness.
To'cheer them on their way
A smile or a kind word spoken.
To those we often meet.
It may be loved ones in our^home,
Or a siranger on the street.
Who ever they are, where e’er they be
If we’ll love to them impart,
It will make their world seem brighter
And bring peace into eur heart.
But since the past has gone forever.
And tomorrow may not be,
Let’s be kind to those ob<»ut us,
Whil they can hear and see.
Then when thO day is ended,
And the shadows come and go
We will l>ave no cause for worry
If we seeds of kindness sow'.
