REMEMBER those long-legged electric ranges? They
cooked many a meal back in 1934, but they would look
rather quaint in the streamlined all-electric kitchen
of today.
Twenty years have made a big difference, too,
in the price you pay for electric service. In 1934 our
residential customers paid an average of four cents for
each kilowatt-hour. Today they pay an average of
slightly more than two cents.
Furthermore, you’re using more electricity—in more
ways—than ever before. You use over three times as
much as you did 20 years ago. That’s because electricity
does so much for so little. Don’t you agree that it’s
an outstanding value —the biggest bargain in your
family budget?
