The funeral of little Linda Ev
elyn Boone was held at Ebenezer
Baptist Church Friday at 11 a.m.
She is survived by her parents,
a sister and four brothers.
Doyle Holliman spent the week
end in the ’Boro with his family.

Cordele, Mr. and Mrs. C. W Pea
cock of Milledgeville and Mr. and
Mrs. Buck Dixon of Gordon

members. The making and re
modeling of hats were demon
strated. Dainty and delicious re
freshments were served.
Mrs. Clyde Stewart from South
Carolina, who has been visiting

ed home from the hospital where
she spent ten days.

The Junior - Senior Banquet
was held at the Irwinton gymna
sium last Thursday night with
Mr. Joseph A. Moore of Milledge
ville as guest Speaker. The ban
quet was sponsored by the local
Masonic Lodge and 185 guests
were invited. The Juniors, in
charge of the decorations, were
assisted by the Rose Garden Club
