boys. 2. The class will not have
a Senior Play. 3. The class took
its annual senior trip with the
1954 class On Sunday morning
May 23, at 1145 Dr. G. M. Bryan
of Mercer University School of
Religion will preach the Bacca
laureate Sermon. The graduating
exercises will be held Tuesday
night, May 25, at 8:00. Mr. Jos
eph Moore of Milledgeville will
deliver the address. Gail Boone
will give the valedictory, Shirley
Day the Salutatory Shirley Dent
the Prophecy, W. L. Helton the
History, and Guy Thompsn the
Last Will and Testament. Vance
Lord is the other member of the
class.
Miss Willie Mae Hall, teacher
of first grade, will present her
class in a promotion program on
Monday night. May 24 at 8:00.
All first graders ready for pro
motion will be dressed in their
little caps and gowns and will
put on a program similar to the
graduating seniors

week to the Veteran’s Hospital
at Dublin for treatment.

latives in Irwinton and Mclntyre
on Wednesday, and had dinner
