FORECLOSURE

WHEREAS, on the 27th dav of
January 1951, Mrs. Helen E. Mohr,
• as Grantor, executed unto the under
signed, Frtd Trapnell. as Grantee, a
security deed with power-of-sale re
corded in Deed Book “82’’ page 493
-5, Clerk’s office of Wilkinson Super
ior Court, to secure the purchase
price of the following land, towit:
All that certain tract or parcel of
land, together with the brick construct
ed dwelling house located thereon
and all other permanent improvements
located thereon and connected there
with, situate, lying and being in the
327th Militia District (Mclntyre), in
Wilkinson County, Georgia, and con
taining four (4) acres, more or less,
and being generally bounded as fol
lows: on the North by the lands of J.
M. Shepherd; on the East by the
“Old Bales Mill Road”; on the South
by the Mclntyre-Macon-Jeffersonville
Public Road; and on the West by the
lands of J. M. Shepherd.
The property is further identified
as the former Home Place of Fred
Trapnell, and has the following cour
ses and distances: Beginning at the
intersection of the Highway leading
from Irwinton by Mrs. B, B. Asbell’s
home to ‘‘Bales Old Mill”; running
thence in a general westerly direction
along and with said Highway leading
from Mclntyre to J effersonville and
Macon a distance of 387 feet; thence
at right angles in a general northerly
direction a distance of 7 0 0 feet;
thence at right angles in a general
easterly direction a distance of 387
feet, to road leading to “Bales Old
Mill”; and thence in a general south
erly direction along said “Old Bales
Mill Road” a distance of 700 feet to
the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, said Grantor has de
faulted in the payment of principal
and interest as agreed to in said secu
rity deed and the undersigned has de
clared, as provided therein, the en
tire balance due, therefore, according
to the terms thereof the undersigned
will expose for sale at public outcry
to the highest bidder for cash the
above described land on the first Tues
day in September 1954 between the
legal hours of sale before the court
house door in Irwinton, Wilkinson
County, Georgia, making to the pur
chaser or purchasers thereof a deed of
conveyance and as provided in said
security deed and the proceeds applied
as provided therein. This August 7,
1954.

The petition ofCeorge H. Carswell
W. L. Council and R W Culpepper
Sr., respectfully shows to the court
as follows:
1. Petitioners desire for themselves,
their successors and assigns, to be in
corporated under the laws of this
State as a business corporation under
the name and style of Wilkinson
County Telephone Company, Inc.
2 The general nature of the busi
ness or purposes to be transacted is as
follows:
The company shall exist primarily
for the purpose of operating a tele
phone business in Wilkinson County,
Georgia, and adjacent counties, mu
nicipalities and territories, but the
company shall be authorized to do
business likewise in any and every
other County or City of the State or
elsewhere outside the State of Georgia
as the Directors may determine. The
company may nlso engage in any and
all business and activities in anywise
in aid of a telephone business or ap
proximately related thereto.
3. The company shall be authoriz
ed to issue a maximum of 1,000
shares of common stock of a par value
of SIOO each, and the corporation will
begin business with not less than
SI,OOO paid in in money or property,
as determined by the Directors. The
corporation shall have existence for a
period of thirty-five (35) years from
the date of the order granting its
charter, with privilege of renewal
from time to time thereafter The cor
poration shall have its principal office
and place of business in Wilkinson
County, Geoagia, but it shall be au
thorized to establish and maintain
other offices and places of business in
any other place whatsoever whether
within the State of Georgia or else
where.
4. The Post Office address of the
applicants for cnarter i s Irwinton.

Wherefore, petitioners pray that
they be granted a corporation having
the characteristics as stated, with all
the powers and privileges now or here
after possessed by corporations of si*
milar character under the laws of this
State.

is not the name of any other existing
corporation according to the records
of the Secretary us State of Georgia
and petitioners have otherwise com
plied with all conditions precedent re
quired to the authorization of a char
ter as prayed for.
The petitioners for themselves,
their successors and assigns, are here
by incorporated under the name and
s t y 1 e Wilkin on County Telephone
Company, Inc., with all the rights,
powers, characteristics and privileges
as set out in the petition, together
with all such rights, powers and priv
ileges as are now or may hereafter be
enjoyed by corporations of similar
character under the laws of this State
and the corporation is granted a char
ter for thirty-five (35) years from
this date, with rights of renewal there
after from time to time.

of Willie Nicholes, alias Willie Nick,
