G. W. CARVER SCHOOL
RICHMOND HILL, GA.
The enrollment and the teaching
personnel of the G. W. Carver
. School have increased through the i
nerging of the Dixie Daniel school. !
The boys and girls of the Dixie
Daniel school have adjusted them
selves nicely to their new situa
tion and are proving themselves
very good students.
The housing of the High School

very pleasing results. The build
ing consists of four classrooms
j and an assembly room.
With a very resourceful faculty,
; cooperative Parent Teacher As
sociation, considerate Board of
Education, and a group of anxious
and enthusiastic students, Carver
is moving forward in a most satis
factorily manner.
Mrs. J. S. Bacon, instructor of
Home Economics, and supervisor
of the lunchroom is being kept
I busy as the holiday season ap
proaches. Already the lunchroom i
tables are centered with very at
tractive Christmas decoration and |
old Santa himself is a spectacular
figure at the center door.
The Juniors and Seniors classes
under the direction of Mrs. C. L.
Johnson got off to a good start I
in Public Speaking during the;
chape] hour on Thanksgiving. The >
forum which was presented
! brought out the origin and sig- j
| nificance of Thanksgiving.
A Christmas operetta entitled
! “David’s Toyland Adventure" will
Ibe presented by the third and
fourth grades under the direction
—of Mrs. J. Mullino and Mrs. M.
Moore, Friday, December 19, in
