school will begin at 9:00 instead
of 8:30.
We would like to wish you a

Class Rings
Monday, December 19, was a
memorable day in the experience
' of the seniors. Their class rings
came. There was a broad grin
on every senior’s face as Mr. Bacon
produced a box and began open
ing it.
It took 12 long years to get
these, rings, and we are very proud
of them. We’re waiting to see
how many Seniors have their rings
after Christmas Holidays.

Gossip Column
It must be the Christmas spirit
that has everyone painting the
town. Beth and Danny really
painted it up fine Saturday night.
Oscar and a senior red-head made
the town, Ellabelle way, along
with other couples at the M.Y.F.
party. Ask Edward L. whom he
took. Linda Kay and Frank took
care of the Hinesville district.
Somebody was feeling very
reckless when they slung a panic
in John’s front yard Sunday after
noon. It couldn't have been Carl
ton and Patty McCoy, because
they were far, far away, all alone. ।
Could it have been Jay Ann

Fifth Grade
The fifth grade has made Christ
mas pictures. Our teacher gave
,u^ paper plates during art, and
we ' drew. Christmas pictures on
them. Out teacher picked out the
best ones and put them in front
of the room.
We also made a mobile. Mrs.
Riggle, our teacher, put it up on
one of the lights. It keeps going
around because the wind hits it.
On the front of our door we
have a Santa Claus and his rein
deer. Those who made it are
Michael Owens, Jimmy DeLoach,
Glenda Kicklighter, and Vera Mae
Ennis.
In Science, we are making a
farm and the animals. We are
very interested in the farm ani
mals.
One of the members of our class
has been making a Christmas pic
ture for our class. It is made of
holly, silver construction paper,
twigs of a Christmas tree which
is cedar and Christmas flowers.
The person who made it is Char
lotte Winters.

of Bethlehem with the wise men
and the bright star shining.
We have enjoyed making Christ

Many of us are learning poems to
say in our programs at school.
We are glad to have Danny
