PANY, INC., a corporation under the
laws of Georgia, a certain Security
deed to the following described prop
erty :
ALL that certain tract or parcel of
land, together with all improvements
thereon situate, lying and being in the
19th G.M. District. Bryan County.
Georgia, starting at a point on the
West side of the Lee Public Road at
a point common to the Northern boun
darv of lands of Bill Hughes and run
ning along the Western edge of said
Lee Road for a distance of seventy
(70) yards to a stake, thence in a
Westerly direction for a distance of
seventy (70) yards on a line at right
angles from said rdad to a stake;
thence in a Southerly direction for a
distance of seventy (70) yards on a
line parallel to said Lee Road to a
stake on the Northern boundary line
of lands of said Bill Hughes, and
thence in an Easterly direction along
ihe Northern boundary line of said
Hughes for a distance of seventy (70)
yards to a stake on the Western side
of said Lee Road, the point of begin
ning. Said lot of land is bound on the
North and West by other lands of
Rufus H. Bacon; on the South by lands
of Bill Hughes; and on the East by
said Lee Road.
THIS BEING the same tract or par
cel of land conveyed to L. W\ Let? from
Rufus H Bacon by Deed dated April
8. 1961 and recorded in the Office of
the Clerk of the Superior Court for
Bryan County. Georgia.
To secure an indebtedness evidenced
by a promissory note dated 12-6-61.
which security deed is recorded in the
Office of the Clerk of Superior Court
of Bryan County, Georgia, in Deed
Book 3-J. Pages 474-5-6. and subse
quently assigned to FAMILY MORT
GAGE COMPANY, by assignment
dated 12-6-61 and recorded in Deed
Book 3-J. Pages 474-5-6 of said County

WHEREAS, default has occurred in
the payment of siad indebtedness ac
cording to the terms of the said note
and security deed, authorizing the ex
ercise of the power of sale contained

NOW. THEREFORE, Pursuant to the
terms of the said security deed, the
note secured thereby, and in exercise
of the power of sale contained therein,
the undersigned will offer for sale to
the highest bidder for cash at public
outcry, the above described Property
on the First Tuesday in December be

of Richmond Hill. December 4th. 1962
for mayor and four alderman. Tenn
of office to run two years from Janu
ary 2nd, 1963 to January 2nd, 1965.
Only those electors registered in the
city registration book 30 days before
said electfbn will be eligible to qualify
as a candidate or to vote. Last date
for qualification will be November
15th. Those wishing to qualify shall
notify City Clerk before 12 noon on
that date.

Coleta's Corner

Last week I met with forty-one
ladies at four Home Demonstra
tion Club Meetings and we enjoy
ed the delicious refreshments serv
ed by the hostesses. Mr. Medders
and I met with seventy-six boys
and girls at the three clubs of the
Black Creek School.
H. D. Council
The Council met on November
9th at the Lanier Church Com
munity House, those serving the
delicious Thanksgiving Dinner and
acting as hostesses were members
of the Black Creek Home Demon
stration Club. Mr. Bill McCoy
from the Savannah Office of So
cial Security gave a very inspir
ing and informative talk on Social
Security and what it should mean
to each of us.
4-H Clubs
The ten 4-H Clubs from Rich
mond Hill and Bryan County High
received help in filling' out their
record hooks at the meetings held
this past week. Since the sth grade
clubs do not have record books yet,
they were given a demonstration
by Mr. Medders; I gave them a
little quiz on the material covered
by Mr. Medders and to my sur
prise nearly all of them knew at
least half of the trees. This made
me very happy and Mr. Medders,
too.
11. D. Club Meetings
The Blueberry Club meets on
November 15th at 1:00 P.M. Since
the place of this meeting is being
changed, the members of this club
are advised to call their president,
Mrs. .1. A. Smith, Jr., for infor
mation concerning the meeting
place this month. The Pembroke
Club will meet at Miss Anne Par
rish’s home on November 19th and
the Black Creek Club will meet
with Mrs. V. P. Stubbs for their
meeting on November 20th. All
members are urged to attend.

Last ..Saturday, on November
3rd. I was in Hinesville and Sa
vannah ; I learned what I could on
the subject of giving a T.V. dem
onstration. When I arrived at

WSAV at 8:30 A.M., I found that
they wanted me to appear with
Miss Virginia Biggers (of Hines
ville) . I did—but I was never so
surprised in my life. I was glad
when they told me 1 would not
have to talk any. My time for a
T.V. Demonstration will come up
in January, so be watching “Coun

Bryan Superior Court
November Term, 1962
We, the Bryan County G ra n d
Jurors for the November Term of
Bryan Superior Court, 1962, make
the following recommendations and
suggestions.
N. L. Ham was elected foreman
of this body, Rex L. Waters was
elected Clerk of this body and Le
roy Lanier was bailiff.
We elect James W. Gill to suc
ceed himself as a member of the
Board of Education for a term of
five years commencing on the 1
day of November, 1962 and ending
on the 1 day of November, 1967.
We recommend that a copy of
these presentments lie placed in
our local county papers.
We recommend that the Fore
man and Clerk of this body be
paid for two days service.
We fix the pay of jurors and
bailiffs for the year 1963 at six
($6.00) dollars per day.
Mr. J. R. DeLoach, Bryan Coun
ty School Superintendent, made an
informative report of the affairs
of his office. We wish to thank
him for this report.
We wish to commend the coun
ty commissioners and other offices
of this county for the splendid
audit which has been prepared
and presented to our body for ex
amination on the financial affairs
I of the county.
We wish to thank the Honorable
Henry H. Durrence for his splen
did and informative charge given
to our members.
The Honorable B. D. Dubberly
having served as solicitor general
of this circuit for a number of
years and having so ably served
i our county in this capacity, we are

A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Solicitor Gen
eral of the Superior Court of this
County and Circuit has served this
County and Circuit for the past 12
years during which time he has
rendered outstanding service in
said office, and
WHEREAS, he did not offer for
re-election to said office and his
present term will expire at the end
of this year, and
WHEREAS, during the period
of service he has rendered valu
able service to this county and has
been a dedicated public servant in
advising the grand jury and hand
ling the interest of the State and
County in al) matters, requiring
his attention before the court and
has been loyal and dependable to
the Court at all times,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLV
ED by this body on behalf of the
citizens of this county and we do
hereby pay special tribute and rec
ognition to our outstanding and
distinguished Solicitor General,
Honorable Bruce Dubberly, and at
the same time thank him for the
outstanding service which he has
rendered while in said office,
which in our opinion has not been
equaled in the State of Georgia.
We wish for Mr. Dubberly after
his retirement a long life of use
fulness and happiness in the fu
ture.
