and baby.
Rev. J. S. Rawles and wife
passed through our burg Sunday
morning en route to fill his regu¬
lar appointment at Mt. Pleasant.
Rev. J. H. Miller passed here
Sunday afternoon en route home
from Sumach, where he had just
filled his semi-monthly appoint¬
ment.
Jay Evans passed through Fri¬
day afternoon en route to Conne¬
sauga to attend his regular
monthly meetings on Saturday
and Sunday.
The prices on mules are still
rising. Willie Hill, of this place,
sold one last Wednesday to a Mr.
Watkins for $200. That looks as
if they might yet bring their
worth.

Miss Lena Keith paid a flying
visit to her home at Dunn, last
Friday afternoon, returning Mon¬
day morning.

Manis were married last Monday
morning by Rev. A. P. Stokes.
Misses Alma Gregory and May
Bradley are expected to visit in
“Little Murray” the last of this
week.
Mrs. Bob Keith is recovering
from a serious illness.
Mrs. George Autrey has recov¬
ered from a severe illnes. She is
visiting her son, Frank, over in
“Big” Murray.
Dr. Colvard has been in Atlan¬
ta for two weeks, having been
called to his little son, who has
been ill with pneumonia, and has
not returned yet on account of
the illness of his brother-in-law,
p>r. Whitehead, of that city.
Misses Bessie and Mossie Mar
tin visited at the home of Dr.
Oolvard Sunday night.
Miss Ann Manis has recovered
to her home after a pleas mt visit
to relatives and friends at Dawn

There is to be a flinch party in
“Little Murray” the last of this

Lewis Lane’s many friends are
pleased to learn that lie is antic¬

Rev. Bud Keith visited us last

Miss Ina Henry’s friends here
regret her school being closed
until summer.
Jack Martin is somewhat better
from his lengthy illness.
We have had thirteen cases of
chickenpox in Connesauga school.
All have recovered.
Dr. Gilbert’s handsome face is
seen often on this side the river.
I am glad to learn that Mrs.
May Dunn Bandy is going to
make “Little Murray” her home.
Miss Lula Freeland will return
to her home at Beaverdale next
Sunday, after a visit of several
weeks to her sister.
Sam W. McLain, of Adair, will
visit Euclid and Luke Cox Satur¬
day and Sunday.

Karl Vining visited in “Little
Murray” last Friday.

The Sunday School at Conne¬
sauga church is well attended,
regardless of bad weather. The
second Sunday and Saturday be¬
fore are Rev. Stokes’ preaching
days there.
There are many excellent
voices on this side, and we hope
in a short time a singing club
will be organized, with Andrew
Kerr to lead it. *

next time.
