RESOLUTION
Of Sumach Lodge F. k A. M. on Death
of Rev. S. H. Henry.
Be it resolved by Sumach
Lodge, No. 55, F. and A. M., that
a committee of three be appoint
ed to draft suitable resolutions
on the death of Bro. S. 11. Hen¬
ry, which we,-the committee of¬
fer to said lodge as follows :
As a Mason, we find that lie
was made a Master Mason at
Spring Place, many years ago,
after which, helped to constitute
Connesauga Lodge, he being
made Master of sain Lodge.
He became a charter member
of Sumach Lodge, helping to con¬
stitute same—always willing and
ready to help in the cause of
masonry as long as age would
permit. He held a diifiit at the
t ime of his death, being a Mason
in the highest sense of the term
—always above reproach.
As a citizen and a Christian
gentleman none stood higher,
and we deeply mourn his loss.
But as it lias pleased the all-wise
God to call him from labor tore
freshmenrs, we bow submissively
to His will, and extend our sym
pathy to the family, trusting that
one day we all will meet in that
Lodge above where there will be
m more parting.
We also recommend that this
be spread upon the minutes of
ga ; ( ] Bodge and that a copy of
same be furnished to the family.
Respectfully submitted, this
