Whereas, The General Assem¬
bly, at its session in 19015, pro¬
posed an amendment to the Gon
stituti.m of this State, as sot forth
in an Act approved July 31,190(5,
to wit:
A bill to be entitled an Act to

Section 1. Be it enacted by

That the following amendment is

section 1, article 11 of the Con¬
stitution of this State, as amend¬
ed by the ratification by the

river, and thence in a southerly
direction along the said Alapaha
river to the starting point..
“That, Fitzgerald shall be the
county site of said county.
“Said county shall be attached
to the Third congressional tlis
tricR and to the Oconee judicial
circuit until another circuit shall
he established embracing the
present county of Irwin, in which
case it shall belong to said new
circuit, ami shall be attached t
the Fifteenth State Senatorial
district.
“That all legal voters residing
m the limits of said county of
Ben Hill entitled to vote for
members of the General Assem¬
bly under the laws of Georgia
shall on tlie first Tuesday in Jan¬
uary 1907, elect an ordinary, a
clerK of the superior tax-collector, court, a
sheriff, a coroner, a
a tax-receiver, a county surveyor,
i county treasurer, atd three
commissioners of roads and rev¬
enues for said county, said elect¬
ion to be held at Fitzgerald, the
. uunty site of said county.
“That the superior courts of
said county shall be held on the
first Mondays in April and Octo¬
ber of each year.
"The limits of the said county,
the congressional and unatorial
districts and the judicial circuit
to which it is attached, the time
of holding the terms of the supe¬
rior courts shall t>e as designated
above until changed by law.
“Bkc. 2. Be it further enacted,
That when this proposed amend¬
ment shall 3) be agreed to by two
third (2 of the members elect¬
ed to each of the two Houses
and shall have been entered on
the Journal of each Po ise w ith
the ayes and nays taken thereon,
