AVe are delighted with the
prospects of an .electric railroad
through mir county in the near
future. Add to the already flour¬
ishing town of Spring Place an
electric line ana you will see it
blossom as the rose and flourish
as the green bay tree.
We ire pleased to note the

The entire county should be
proud of the nourishing schools
at the above mentioned places.
We heve had the pleasure of
securing a few copies of “The

sider it a very good paper.
Let the good work of improve¬
ment go on, and, with the Farm¬
ers’ Union and Southern Cotton
Association to aid in securing
better prices to the producers,
and a square deal to all wage
earners.
Murray will soon be the banner
county of the state. Not only is
otir county improving financially
but a three-days court would in¬
dicate that it is improving mor¬
ally. But there is one thing that
is a great discredit to-Our county
and that is the condition of our
public roads. Let everyone lend
his best effort in bettering the
road conditions.

WE Are Here to Give
Our patrons what they want. We do not try to induce
them to take something else. If a customer wants Hood’s imf
Sarsaparilla, he gets Hood’s Sarsaparilla. He is not
portuned to take our own make. We like to treat our
customers right. It is both pleasant and profitable. We
have built up the largest drug establishment in Dalton by
gratifying our patrons’ wishes. There is no reason why
everybody in Murray Comity should not trade here. AVe
can give them decidedly the best service and our prices
are fixed altogether according to what things are worth.
