la Memoriam.
Mr. Henry J. Bright, son of
Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Bright, born
on the 17th, day of February
3874, and died on the 14th day
of May, 1907, and was therefore
thirty-three years old. Just in
the prime of voting manhood
when death claimed him as his
O’A n and took him to the beyond.
Not many years since his
joung wife,too,took her (light to
the great beyond. They leave
three dear little children. May
Go l ever be with those dear
little orphans who are deprived
of the greatest blessing of this
eartb’a mother and father’s love.
Dear little children remember
that God is ever willing and
ready to help you in your trials
and tribulations.
Mr. Bright also leaves a dear
old father and mother and five
brothers, to mourn his loss.
Dear parents and brothers, re¬
member that your dear one bore
bis troubles patiently.
Ami in death he takes his lasting sleep
How sweet is his repose,
In heaven above no more to weep;
Where end less comfort flows.
Among the silent dead he Vies
On old Georgia’s stiiuiy hill.
Where we have often heard the cry
of the lonesome whippoor will.
Ta 1 oaks around his grave may grow,
And fragrant flower’s bloom;
The tempest howl and fierce winds blow
They can't molest his tomb.
Hard storms may pass and lightning play,
And thunder shakes the ground;
And tenting rains may damp the clay
Upon his silent mound.
This can't disturb his lovely sleep
Nor mar his peace on high,
For some appointed angels keep
Their watchful station nigh.
(.row on tall oaks yovtr’e bower's spread
To shade his silent grave
The I,orti is watching All the dead
ThtIr sleeping dust to save
V lu n t« e joyful trump shall sound
To vend both earth and sky,
Awake ye nations tinder ground
Ye saints ascend on high.
Then with our dear ones we shall rise
To piect that dazzling throng
Ami hail our loved ernes in the skies
And join them in their song.
Oh parents brothers ami dear little children
I hope you'll strive to meet
YOur laved onesthat heavenly home
Where alt will be complete.
