To the Public,
The Public road laws applicable
in Murray county provide that
road hands may pay $3.00 as
commutation tax in lieu of work¬
ing on the public roads four
days.
The act of 1007 providing for a
commutation tax of $1.00 applies
only to some other counties and
not to Murray,
I understand that some of the
district commissioners are
lecting $4.00/ therefore this
card. Very truly,
TV. W. Sampler,
Atty. for County Board.
