JUDGE FITE
MAKES STATEMENT
And Says that He Will Be Re*
Elected by an Increased
Majority.
To T«k People ok The Cherokee
Circuit :
I respectfully call attention to
an anonymous circular which is
being scattered over the Circuit
and published in tie Dalton
papers, commenting upon and
containing the body of a letter
written by me two years ago.
The comment is false and
malicious and I hope’it will de¬
ceive no one. I did not use the
word “ooozers,” nor did I char¬
acterize those who voted against
me as “boodlers,” but did so
characterize the “gang,” who,
over the protest of myself and
friends, called that early and
separate Primary.. The words
“criminal element” refer to
those who sent out the “booze
and boodle,” some of wdiom are
now sending out the circular. Of
those who voted against me I
said, “Of course a great many
good men opposed me, and many
of them did so on the mistaken
idea that Gordon Lee was en¬
titled to a second term, and for
them 1 have the kindest feel¬
ings.”
Of those who voted for me 1
said “I hope that the good people
of the District who stood by me
so loyally will never regret hav¬
ing done so, and they have my
profound and lasting gratitude.”
i do not suppose that my op¬
ponent is any more responsible
for the circular than he is for his
candidacy. 1 have forced him to
admit on the stump tlia,t he tried
to get others to run against me,
and, failing in this, he is run¬
ning, as he says, because I have
been unfair to one Cannon atul
others of his clients, including
the Railroad, which of itself
should defeat him. The people
know that I have been faithful,
impartial and efficient, and will
not be deceived by the unselfish
cries of “unfair” and “long
enough.”
My race is in line shape, and
it now looks like I will be re¬
elected by an increased majority,
but I ask my friends to be on the
alert and as active as they wcT
can. I will carry Bartow, Gor¬
don, Catoosa and Dade counties;
my opponent will carry Whitfield
county, and Murray county is
doubtful. Indications are that
my majority in the Circuit will
be between twelve and iifteen
hundred,
Very truly yours,
A. W, Fite.
Deafness Cannot Be Cured
by local applications, as they
cannot reach the diseased portion
of the ear. There is only one
way to cure deafness, and that is
by constitutional remedies.
Deafness is caused by an in
llamed condition of the mucous
lining of the Eustachian Tube.
When this tube is uillamed you
hav-e a rumbling sound or im¬
perfect bearing, and when it is
entirely closed, Deafness is the
result, and unless the lnfiarnma
tion can be taKon out and this
tube restored to its normal con¬
dition, hearing will be destroyed
forever; nine cases out of ten are
caused by Catarrh, which is
nothing but an inflammed condi¬
tion of the mucous surfaces.
We will give One Hundred
Dollars for any case of Deafness
(caused by Catarrh) that cannot
be cured by Hall’s Catarrh Cure.

Kidney complaint kills more
people than any other disease.
This is due to the disease being
so insidious that it gets a good
hold on the system before it is
recognized. Foley’s Kidney

time. G. H. Arrowood.
