MOODY TEXAS
Well, as the editor has given
me a corner in The Murray News
I’ll come again.
The weather is looking very
unfavorable and I guess we are
going to have some more mud.
The weather lias been fine so far
and all the farmers are getting
along nicely. They don’t have
much rain here, but when it
does rain its all * in, succession
and not much cold weather.
1 was sure surprised when I
read The News and saw so many
of my little school mates being
married'. I wish them success in
life.
Glad to hear of so many MurJ
ray county schools in such nice
progress. Boys and girls will
some day reap the reward of an
education. Remember, children,
our school days are golden mo¬
ments, and let’s make godd use
of them. . .
Our Moody school is progres¬
sing nicely. Has enrolled about
228.
Doogan, what’s the matter,
why don ( t you write us a word or
two? I guess you and Oohutta
Springs went to sleep last year
and the new year failed to wake
you up. If so, perhaps the March
winds will wake you up.
Hope, some of iny old atequain
ences will give us, a long letter
for I do enjoy reading your good
letters. A Texas Giru
