Young Jones Huffman and a
son of Mart Henderson were in
town Saturday and had with
them a large bird or water fowl
of some kind. The boys, with
the aid of their dog, succeeded
in capturing the fowl in a branch
near Win. Morgan’s. The boys
say the bird is a fine diver and
put up a pretty good fight.
The supposition is that the un
f rt.mute bird had been blow n
out of Ms home country by the
recent lianl sfdfms.
