BUvl Yt?n8 NOT.CE,

ment by November 15 th a» 1 have obli¬
gations to meet and will be compelled
to have what is due me. If yon do not
settle by or before that date I shall be
obliged to sue’. I dislike very much to
be forced to run my patrons to a bill of
cost but my indebtedness is such that 1
cannot meet it unless I collect what is
due me and if-you owe me you posi¬
tively must pay up. Come on, now,
and pay np. Your Servant.

The statement is being given out by
some of the anti-administration organs
tiiat a compromise of tin; silver question
is about to be effected in the Senate.
To begin with there is no shadow of a
compromise in the paper.
It proposes the same thing in both
words and effect, or nearly so, as the
present Sherman law.
It provides for the purchase of silver
bullion till a fixed date in 1803 , (about
June 1st,) and the coinage of a suffi¬
cient quantity of the white'metal to in¬
crease that kind of currency to$ 800 , 000 ,
000 .
There is no compromise about it. It
ia simply a concession to the republi¬
cans ami anti-silver democrats and
amounts simply and solely to a post¬
ponement pf silver legislation!
