will be cut off by congress when it
meets and cotton will be worth 19 cents
next fall as one of jibe many results
arising thereby.
The Constitution wail* that “the

time advises democrats to keep their
eyes open. The tax should be cut
smoothe oil of whiskey and all other ar

Hon. A. K. Ramsey has introduced a
bill in the legislature to establish a
county court in this county. The hill
provides tlist the court shall lie held
once in each month for the trial of ail
criminal and civil business. The pay
of jurors, where a jury is used, will be
|| « day. The entire costs of the court
sn to be paid out of the fines and for¬
feitures end by I Im parlies at law, ex
eept that the jurors are to he paid out
of the county funds. Nothing else will
cost the county a cent. By the estab¬
lishment of this court all cases can be
disposed hi in a speedier manner and at
a much less expense to the county.
