the follow ing general presentments.
VVe have, through various c.o umitt

books of record, and other public prop¬
erty and find them as*follows.
The pauper farm is in a neglected
xtonciUon ; Iho buildings arc ail tloing to
ruin, and not a good fence mi (be farm
.nor a good roof on the buildings; the
rolling lands are washing away. We
find three pauper* at the farm and they
complain of not having the proper treat
ment.. Wc find two old mules, in ordi¬
nary condition, one heiieraud au old
wagon.
Wc find tho jail and jailer’s house
neat and dean and in good order except
tho.pvnler depailment, and wurecom
luolid that the county pemrd have the
pump put. in the well at once.
VVe find the old Staples corner in a
dilapidated condition and recommend
that it he sold.
VVe find the public roads in very good
condition.
We find the tax receiver's books neat¬
ly and correctly kept.
We find all the dockets of the justice

the proper season.
