Mrs. John Robinson is repoited to be get¬

The deputy marshals have been making
frequent trips into this county for a week
past.
Judge Temple and lady left yesterday to
attend the Baptist Convention in Dallas,
Texas.
Mr. W. W. Mullinax was in town one day
this week and reports crops growing in his
vicinity.
All the weather prophets have gone into

Mrs. Victoria Osbosno is doing the role of

Dr. Chastain and family wont to Calhoun
Tuesday. The Dr. returned home Wednes¬
day but the good wife and children will re¬
main there for two weeks visiting relatives.
From the general iidioatious afloat in the
atmosphere we predict that it couple of our
young people are fixing up their affairs pre¬
paratory to being bitched up in double har¬
ness at an early date.
In another column will be found a procla¬
mation of the Governor offering a reward for
slayers of Henry Worly. It is stated in the
proclamation that Worley was killed in this
cot nty but such is not the case as he was a
citizen of Gilmer county and was killed in
that county.
