home; that smiling countenance,
as she lay cold in death, was a sweet
assurance to her loud parents and

was complete.

In Christ’s bosom she is sleeping,
In her final Heavenly home.

time I will write a few lines so as
to inform the people that wo are
not all dead.
School at this place is flourshing
—We have two of the very best
teachers in the slate of Georgia.
Mrs. Cox of this place is st ill pu¬
ny and don't seem to be improving
very fast.
Mr. I). C. McLain and wife was
the guests of Mrs. Annie Leauion,
of this place, last, Wednesday.
We are glad to say that Miss
Annie Camp lias recovered from a
severe spell of lever.
The school at this place has re¬
ceived quite a n tun be ot compli¬
ments of laie, one among them
was;“Pleasant Valle aifoids the
best ami civilest set of boys and
girls of any school in the Souty.
We have Prayermeeting here at
the Valley each Hunday night and
we are glad to see so many young
people taking an interest iu it.
