THE EXPoall’ION.
We have been to the greut In¬
ternational Cotton States Exposi¬
tion, at Atlanta, and, like all oth¬
ers who have been there, pro¬
nounce it the greatest, best and
most complete show ever given in
the United (States, except the
World’s Fair at C ticago. Every
building on the grounds is chuck
tuli of interesting and elaborate
exhibits and we are wholly unable
to state which of them is the most
worthy. Suffice it to say that it a
mounts to almost a practical ed
noattan to anyone who goes there
and makes an intelligent inspec¬
tion of all the buildings aud their
contents, aud, certainly can but be
benifitted by seeing it. Tue man -
ageraent and the subordinates are
Mery courteous to all visitors and
every convenience may be had in¬
side the grounds—ill fact (he Expo¬
sition is a very large city within
itself.
Independent of the Expo proper
are the Ali. I way and other attrac¬
tions, and of These those redly
worth your time and money to see
are: Japanese Village—where vou
have almost a perfect reproduction
of Oriental life beside an excellent
exhibition by the celebrated jug
glets ot that country The Mex
can Village, where you may form a
Correct conception of the life ftud
mant>ere of those in that republic—
There you see the greaser, the
burro, the bull fighter, the theatre
and a bull fight itself.
Hagenbeck’s Trained Animal sbovr,
■vrhtch is the complete&t attraction
ot its kind on the globe. It is
wonderful to witness the psrfor
rnances in this grand aggregation
of ferocious beasts.
The Ice Palace 1 b another good
show. There you see the native
Esquimaux f m biyhoodt- mu
hood and, also, have a perfect and
real production 01 his arctic home.
Deep Sea Diving, with which
Georgo Owens, of Dalton, is cim
iiected will be of much interest, to
you. A lady dons the divers pa
raphrenslia and decends into the
sea in quest of pearls, sponges, etc
lbe Little World is a perfect, cn
riomty of automatic mechanical
figures representing ali phases of
life and the Battle of Atlanta.
Roll air's Illusions is cue ot the
best and most instructive shows
on the Mid. 'There you may see a
living, beautiful, woman turned
into stone and brought hack to
life right before yonr ey «. Also
mayn other highly interesting illu¬
sions.
French Folie Dancers, Paris by
Moonlight, Living Pictures, Turkish
Harem and The Brownies are othei
very inlureRting shows to the boys I j
The Dahomey Village is an exhi¬
bition of CO African savages who
are represented As in life with their
cannibalistic effects left off, o| j
course. It is well worth the price ;
to see thip show.
The cost, of seeing the Exp >si
tiou is very moderate. Board WHS
never cheap*r in Atlanta lhan at
this time and there is no necessity
lor any visitor to spend mote mon
ey now than at any other time, ex¬
cept for amdissiou into the grounds
which is 50 cents, and other attrac¬
tions range in price from 15 cents
to 25 cents. It is a perfect exhi¬
bition and all who can should go.
