A BATCH OF
HOT WAFFLES.

Happenings of the Week Broiled down to
a Delicious Taste.
LET US SMILE.
Yoor heart is not the only one
Vh at oe’rflows with tears;
It is not the only one
That is die l with doubts and fears;
Neither is your heart the only one
That is wearing ont fis year*.
We are here fer such a short while,
Then,-0 then, let us smile,
sAodMo not let the cruel world tee
Hut tile’s not so sweet as we would have
it be.
Then strive, 0 strive, to smile;
'Though the world is full of Borrow and
of sin,
Yet, in Heaven a window’s opened wide,
* And bright light ehineth in.
-••May we »acb leak toward that window
When life’s trials iperpl.x and hinder;
In sorrow’* dark night
Let ns bathe in the light
■That shines from the City so pure, fair
and white.’’
