“noon VAI.BE8 ARE THE FOUNDATION’ OF
•mu success."—B cnj. Franklin.
We had arrived at this conclusion long before we read this eminent¬
ly true aphorism of one of America's greatest men.
How Mr. Franklin found this out we do not knew—our knowledge
of it was gained by experience.
Particularly is it true in Belling goods that “Good values aie the
foundation of true success”. Every time we give a customer a good bar»
gain it. pays us. This is why we try to give every one of them a genuine
I ..--1 train every time we make a sale. Belling good values is the secret of
our growing success.

Women try to faint away
often enough so men will
think they are delicate and
not so often they will think
they must be sickly.
Its a hard matter for one
these days to keep cool; We
long to hie ourselves away to
some quiet shady nook where
flies, mosquitoes and heat are
unknown.
Romantic scenes are pro
bably put into plays so as to
give women in the audience
an excuse to squeeze the
hands of the men that brought
them.
