THE HOME OF LOW PRICES I
AND SQUARE OEALINHI
is at Jiobinson’8, on the corner. I have spent the Letter part of my life in the mercantile business at Spring
Place and have never, knowingly, acted unfairly with a customer or uttered a misrepresentation concerning
dry goods. You all know me and know that these are facts: you have been my friends for years and I would
be ntterly ungrateful were i not yonrs. All my goods are sold at a profit—unless it is some odds and ends,
I sell nothing at or below cost and it will take a much bigger concern than any store in Spring Place for the
accumulation of many odds and ends ; n a single season. Therefore when yon hear “odds and ends" ahonted
from the housetops ani on highways and byways, in and out of season, you may well keep yonr weather eye
on the party doing the talk. It is my intention to keep right on in the same old channel so long followed by
me but the exigencies of the season require that I say something of my
