Dr. Andrew Montgomery,
of Coosawattee, has retired
from the practice of medicine
on account of failing health.
Farm labor is in great de¬
mand in this section at present
and some of the farmers have
been paying a wage of 75 cents
per day for help.
Farmers are all as busy as
bees these days and C ach
twenty-four hours witnesses
the demise of tons and tons of
grass and filth in the rapidly
growing crops.

George Huggins is here
from St Louis, Mo., visiting
his parents. Tie holds a lu
crative place in that city with
a wholesale millinery house
and expects to start back
there next Monday.

been chosen for the Lucy Hill
Institute. We hope that the
trustees wdl look wed into the
matter and that a teacher may

new life into the school.
Rev. 0. C. Peyton preached
a highly entertaining sermon

Sunday evening. He was ac
companied over from Dalton
by Rev. John H. Phillips and
spent the night at the

to our wife and mother during
her long illness we desire to

tude. Your unselfish atten¬
tion and tender care to her
during that trying period can
never be paid in full by us but
there is One whose eye is ever
watchful of such loyal love as
