Working Against Reorganizers.
Mr. Bryan is putting ferth new
efforts to defeat the reorganizers.
According to the Herald of New
Tork be has sent a circular letter to
bis friends lu that city urging them
to renewed activity againBt what he
calls “the monopoly” or
iog element of the Democratic
party.” In the course of his letter
he says: “The next twelve months
will witness a struggle for the con¬
trol of tlie Democratic
It rests with the voters to say
whether the Democratic party shall
represent the people in their fight
against greed or whether it sbal. be
turned over to the Republican party
with all that that term has come ,o
stand for.” Mi. Bryan says that he
has no doubt that the reorganizers
can be thwarted and their plans de¬
feated He announces his purpose
to put lorth all his power to defeat
them.
It is worthy of notico that Mr.
Bryan has had little or nothing to
say of the refusal of the Io wa
Democrats to reaffirm the Kansas
City platform. He was greatly dis¬
appointed by their action. He
that if the Democrats of Iowa de¬
liberately turn down the
City platform when assembled in
state convention the chances are
that they will send a delegation
the national con vention that will

And if Iowa Democrats take that
course why not Democrats of other
Western states? The West is Mr
Bryan’s stronghold, and yet it seems
to be slipping away from him. Of
course, he has a large following yet,
but he is discovering that al l of the
millions of voters who cast then
votes for him In 1896 and 1900
were not so wedded to the Chicago
and Kansas City platforms as not to
be able to see that these
contain some things to which the
majority oi the voters having ob
jected twice are likely to continue
to object. The wiser course for Mr.
Bryan to pursue is to join with other
leaders in an effort to build a plat¬
form upon which all Democrats will

Verv Remarkable Onreot Diarrhoea
“About six years ago for the first time
in Hie I had a sudden and severe attack
of diarrhoea,” says Mrs. Alice Miller, of
Morgan, Texas. "1 got temporary relief,
but it came back Hgain and again, and
for six long years 1 have suffered more
misery and agony than I can tell. It was
worse than death. My husband spent
hundreds of dollars for physicians' pie
ucriptious and treatment without avail.
Finally we moved to BosqUa county, our
present home, and one day I happened
to see an advertisement of Chamberlain’s
Cholic, Choiera and Diarrhoe Remedy
with a testimonial of a man who had
been cured by it. The case was so similar
to my own that I concluded to try the
remedy. The result was wonderful. I
could hardly realize that 1 was well agaiu,
or believe it eould be so after havingsuf
lered so Jong, but that one bottle of
medicine, costing hut a few cents, cured
me.” For sale by Everett Bros, nod U.
