Brownie Troop 12, under the

met April 26 at Hendrix Drive
School for their weekly meeting.
They discussed plans for a weiner
roast and took a walk in the
woods,
Cathy Padgett was hostess for
the meeting on Thursday, 26th. *

There were six members present
for the weekly meeting of Brownie
Troop 2, Wednesday, April 24,. at
the home of the leader, Mrs. N. R.
McDaniel, 926 Sycamore Circle.
Plans were made for Mother's
Day gifts, and work done on a
scrap book to be presented to a
classmate who is ill at his home.

Thursday, April 6, they discus
sed plans for a skating party for
the next meeting. The party will
complete their work for proficiency
badges in skating. This will also
be a birthday party in honor of
their second year in Girl Scouting.
Members of this troop are work
ing with other troops throughout
the city, selling cement blocks to
be used in the new girl scout build
the weekly meeting, Wednesday,
April 24, of Brownie Troop 9, at
Ash Street School.
Among other projects the girls
made plans for the hike on Satur
day, April 28 to the City Hall Park.
There were 16 members present
for the Wednesday meeting.
