Well, here we go again. Subject is Brains, Superhighways
and Taxes.
Os course we don’t want you to think I got a lot of brains
like a 15*/2 year old. Cause I ain’t.
I’m like the little boy was. Two distinguished gentlemen
stopped and asked him the way to a certain place and he said
“I don’t know.” Then they asked him several more questions
trying to get an idea where they were and to each of these he
said firmly: “I don’t know.”
After a while one of the fellows, a little peeved said “Son,
you don’t know nothing much do you.” The boy smiled and
said, ’‘No sir, but I know I ain’t lost.”
We aren’t lost when it comes to knowing how to spend tax
money. Every election year these politician? always feed you
the same malarky. They say: “Better highways and we’ll cut
your taxes.” But as soon as they are elected it is less or worse
highways and more tax.
Now if they studied anything but how to line their pockets
we could have self-sustaining super highways all over the
world. They-could purchase an extra 150 feet of right-of-way.
Put this 150 feet in the middle of a four lane. Rent it by the
month to the business man, who could build stands or what
have you with access to both lanes of traffic. In event of war
you would have supplies from one end of the country to the
other end without having to run to town for anything. Be
sides maintaining the highways it would pay a big dividend.
WE BUY, SWAP, SELL AND TRADE. Y’LL COME.
